The following flowers are categorised into bisexual and unisexual as follows:

  • Unisexual flowers: Flowers with only male or female reproductive organs are known as unisexual flowers. They're known as incomplete flowers.  They use cross-pollination to reproduce. They lack stamen and carpels. Watermelon and papaya both are unisexual.
  • Bisexual flowers: Bisexual flowers are flowers that have both male and female reproductive organs. They're also known as full flowers. They will pollinate each other. Mustard and hibiscus are both bisexual plants.
