Cathode is connected to negative terminal but has postive ions why? ​

Explanation:

because electrons are passed from anode and taken in by cathode.

therefore cathode is connected to the positive side but in result the anode becomes negative in value and cathode becomes positive in value

The negatively charged electrode( Cathode) will attract positive ions

If you take 2 magnet , north and north do not attach each other but south and north attach

So , we can take North pole as Cathode which is negetive and South pole as ions which is positive .
