AIDS = Accquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome.
It is caused by HIV ( Human Immunodeficiency Virus)


The causes of AIDS are :


1) Through Sexual contact with an infected person.
2) Through vertical transmission from mother to baby. If mother is infected by HIV.
3) Through infected needles.
4) Through transfusion of Contaminated blood with an AIDS Virus. (HIV).

And the prevention are :
1) People should be educated about AIDS transmission.
2) Sexual contact with unknown people should be Avoided.
3) Sterilised needles may be provided to drug addicts.
4) The common razor at the Barber shops should not be used.
5) High risk groups should refrain from donating blood.

6) The disposal syringes and needles should not be used for injection.

•Avoid having multiple sexual partners.
•Disposable needles,blades should be used.
•Blood should be checked before transfusion.
•Disposed needles should not be used.
