Marine pollution refers to the pollution mainly caused when harmful substances enters the water bodies. These are caused by the release of harmful chemicals from many industries , oilspills, sewage, litters and plastics thrown by people and dissolved green house gases into these water bodies. It can adversely effects the marine life by broking out sunlight, choking of oxygen thereby causing the rise of biologically oxygen demand(B.O.D), it also risks aquatic animal's life as plastic may be eaten by species like turtles.
It can be control by carrying out some measures to prevent the chemicals entry into water bodies and by picking some volunteer at beach and places near water bodies to prevent plastic throwers and also at oilspills areas
Hope it will help you out
