Burning of garbage:

The developing nations lack the infrastructure for proper garbage disposal. The residents often burn the trash in the open. It can range from food wastes to plastics and electronics. It is the chief source of CO2, particular matter, mercury and PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons). These chemicals may cause neurological diseases.
