DISEASE :

• Disease is the sickness which is caused by specific symptoms.

• It affects the organs and tissues of the body.

• Examples : typhoid, cholera and tuberlucosis.

• There are two types of diseases :

a) Infectious disease.

b) Non infectious disease.

CAUSES OF DISEASES :

\leadsto Diseases are caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, parasites etc.

• Diseases are caused by microorganisms.

• Some diseases causing agents are : HIV, amoeba, Hepatitis viruses etc.

• Some harmful diseases can cause death.

Infectious diseases : Diseases which are spread by a person to another person is called as infectious diseases.

Non Infectious diseases : The diseases which are caused by pathogens are called as non Infectious disease.
