Explanation:

Here qadrilateral Abcd in which

AB = 3cm

Bc=4 cm

now.

area of quad. = Ab * Bc

=. (3 *4) cm²

=. 12cm²

Answer:

a -4cm ,b-5cm,c-3cm,

a2 +c2 = b2,

∆ABC is right angle with b = right angled 90°.

Area of right triangle ABC,

= 1/2 × base×height,

= 1/2 × 3cm×4cm =6cm,

for ∆ACD ,

= a=4cm,b=5cm,c=3cm,

= s= a+b+c/ 2,

= 4+5+5/2, =14/2 ,= 7cm

area of the∆ ACD ,

= s√s-a,s-b,s-c

= 7√7-4cm,7-5cm,7-3cm,

= 7√3,2,4 = 2√21cm2

= 2×4.6cm2

= 9.2cm2

Area of quadrilateral ABCD,

area of∆ABC+ area of ∆ ACD,

6cm2 + 9.2cm2,

15.2cm2,(approx)
