Given :  Jimmy has 50¢ in his pocket amounting 90.00. His 10¢ coins amounting to 12.00.

To Find : How many more 50¢ coins than 10¢ coins does Jimmy have?

Solution:

Jimmy has 50¢ in his pocket amounting 90.00

let say  50¢  coins = A

=  A * 50¢

= A/2  $

A/2 = 90

=> A = 180

Jimmy has 10¢ in his pocket amounting 12.00

let say  10¢  coins = B

=  B * 10¢

= B/10  $

B/10 = 12

=> B = 120

A - B = 180 - 120 = 60

60 more 50¢ coins than 10¢ coins  Jimmy have
