30th April 2020 I turned 20.
I am not those "today is all about me because it's my birthday" kind of girls, but I love surprises and celebrations .
My whole family lives in Delhi and we celebrate all the occasions together. This time, it was just me, my mother, father and a family friend. Quarantine seemed impossible to do so. I was just expecting wishes over calls. .As usual, there were so many posts and stories, calls and texts for the wishes.
After having a conversation with a police officer of my area, we somehow managed to distribute groceries for 15 families.
I baked my cake ( quarantine has made me a cook after all)At 12, I was surprised with some decorations and all family members over a video conference.
All my favourite food items were cooked.
Pizza, sundae brownie, cold coffee
Then there were a lot of messages in my family group which I thought everyone was making picture videos over some random app, for me.
But no. All my family members uniquely wished me. They made a photo collage of every member (including the pet dog, Tuffy).
My sibling who is in Mumbai now made a video of happy birthday using his body postures.
My 10-year-old cousin made a greeting card and attached her favourite unicorn pen to it. (Which she rarely does)
My Mausa Ji went from building to the building of his society to form the letters of my name and also used hand gestures to make happy birthday out of it.

I celebrated my birthday party in lockdown . At evening we started decorating and I dressed up myself . I wore a gown of baby pink color , pink color heels and a beautiful crown on my head . Till i dressed up all arrangements were done . i saw the decoration it was really pretty . at 6:00 clock we started my birthday party . we played musical chairs, dancing statue etc. I cut my beautiful and yummy unicorn cake and agter cake cutting we started eating the food . the party was really nice . it was my best birthday ever
