Celebrity MP's are a rare sight in Parliament. Should the so-called stars contest in elections after all ?

This is one of the latest trend which is being observed in Indian Parliament lately.
The involvement of Celebrity in elections bring much votes to the party (Depends on how popular the celebrity is & his fan followers).
But basically, it should be avoided as celebrity are better of as taking their profession as acting & not indulge in serious issues like politics in which they have to think about a mass number of people, their benefits and all issues related to them.
I, personally think that Celebrity or so-called stars should not contest for elections at all.

i think stars should not stand for elections because people give votes to them because they like them but they would not like the party. there should be a rule that no celebs should participate in the elections that is what i feel!!!
