But actual definition of Cell is
The unit mass of protoplasm with different shape and size surrounded by plasma membrane is called cell.
and at the same time it is also called as smallest level of living organism because Cell made up the smallest level of a living organism such as human and other living things. The cellular level of an organism is where the metabolic process occur that keep the organism alive , That's why cell is also called the basic unit of life .
