Answer:

Golgi apparatus is a complex organelle made up of membrane lined stack of cisternae, network of tubules, vesicles and vacuoles. Golgi apparatus is present in all eukaryotic cells except RBC and sieve tube elements. In plants, golgi apparatus consists of a number of isolated units called dictyosomes. The number of golgi bodies or dictyosomes is generally 9 to 10 in a plant cell but is very high in cells engaged in secretory activity, e.g., root cap cells they produce mucilage and in cells engaged in rapid division for production of wall materials. Dictyosomes synthesize cell wall material in plants.

Dictyosomes are stacks of flat, membrane-bound cavities that together comprise the Golgi apparatus. In plant cells, dictyosome helps in plate formation during cell division.
