Cells use to make proteins
a) Nucleus
b) DNA
c) RNA
d) chromosomes
Answers
c) RNA is the answer .....hope it helps:)
Answer:
Correct Answer: c) RNA
Explanation:
Biosynthesis of protein occurs in two steps:
1. Transcription
Transcription is a process in which DNA is used as a template to synthesize mRNA. The codon of the functional protein is copied from DNA to make messenger RNA. Transcription occurs in the nucleus where the DNA is present. The mRNA produced then travels out of the nucleus into the cytoplasm to proceed further. During, this time the mRNA undergoes various modification processes.
2. Translation
The translation is a process in which the information received from the mRNA is converted into a functional protein. Ribosomes in the cytoplasm read the code and tRNA brings in the desired amino acid to form the protein. This protein then modifies and goes through protein folding and other post-translation modifications to form a fully functional protein.
