Sp - rs 1500

B profit % - 25%

CP for B -

 100 \times \frac{120}{1500}

= 1200

profit % for A = 20%

CP for A -

 \frac{100 \times 120}{1200}

= 1000 rs

Answer :-

Let the Cost Price (CP) be = 100

Profit = 20%

Then S.P = 120

_________________

Then For B C.P = 120

Profit = 25%

S.P = 25/100× 120 + 120

=> 30 + 120

=> 150

S.P for C is = 1500

=> 1500/150

=> 10

Therefore C.P for A = 100 × 10

= 1000rs
