Center of peasants panic movement in French revolution:
Nantes is considered as Center of peasant’s panic movement in French revolution.
The main reasons for emergence of this movement are as follows:
- The peasants were placed in the 3rd estate in the French Society.
- They were prone to work for more hours in the fields of landlords as well as in their own fields.
- All types of the tax were imposed on them only.
- The ownership right of the most of the Peasants was taken by the French people.
- In order to protest, the peasants initiated a panic movement in place called Nantes during French Revolution.
