Autumn was written by Kalidas. It was translated into English by Arthur W. Ryder.In the poem the poet considers autumn to be a young beautiful girl who charms a young man's heart. She is slender and graceful. Rice stems decorate her hair and lilies adorn her face. She wears the dress of grass. She is greeted by the birds which sounds like the tinkling of the bracelets.
