The main idea of the poem is that the speaker is confronted with this fork in the road and must make a choice as to which road to take. The speaker can only choose one path, and must abide by that choice. The theme of the poemis that human beings are defined by the choices they face and the choices they make.

in this poem the poet says told that in front of every person one day there comes to ways , to direction but both diverge in two equal paths.
so we should be careful to choose any one because we can choose only one of them.both of them r equally beautiful.
once 1 road is taken it cannot be go back.
so while choosing we should be very careful and should choose wisely.
