on killing a tree is a senstable or heart touching poem. in this poem poet says that we can't cut a tree with a simple short knife we use other modern material to cut or after this we can't cut a tree or a single person can can't cut a tree.

after this that tree root will go to earth and earth will consume it and after the small time or a long period of time it will grow to leprous height.
