Answer:

The Poem ‘Fire and Ice’ is a composition of Robert Frost. In this poem, the poet has stated two faces of this world or two different yet dangerous behaviours of human beings. He has used fire for the desires of people and ice for the hatred of people towards each other. The central thinking of the poem is to represent the cruel results of these feelings when they are felt by someone being out of the limit. He mentions that hatred among people is as cold as fire and being in excess, it can numb the senses of people whereas the desires of people are as powerful as fire because when someone is having a desire then he/she can cross any limit for having it. This can also harm this world in many ways. So, by describing this, he gives us a message and some cautious that excess of anything can lead to destruction.  Here, in this poem the poet signifies love, passion etc. as fire and hatred, greed etc. as ice. Also, world represents a relationship of humankind.
