The Cerebrum: The cerebrum or cortex is the largest part of the human brain, associated with higher brain function such as thought and action.

The cerebellum is the area found at the back and bottom of the brain. The cerebrum is the part of the brain involved in the higher levels of thinking and action. Four lobes or sections make up the cerebrum. Each lobe performs a different job.

Medulla is the inner region of an organ or tissue, especially when it is distinct from the outer region or cortex (as in a kidney, an adrenal gland, or hair).
"the adrenal medulla produces adrenaline"
short for medulla oblongata.

The pons (Latin for "bridge") is part of the brainstem, and in humans and other bipeds lies inferior to the midbrain, superior to the medulla oblongata and anterior to the cerebellum.
