Certain force acting on 40kg mass changes it's velocity from 5m/s to 2m/s.Calculate the work done by the force.

according to the work energy theorem work done by a force on a moving body is equal to increase in kinetic energy

using the same above mentioned theorem,

work done=increase in k.e

=>1/2mv²-1/2mu²

=>1/2m(v²-u²)

=>1/2*40*(5²-2²)

=>20*21

=>420 j
