Since F = m* a
= 20 kg * (v - u) /t
=20 kg * (2-5)/1 ms-2
=20*-3 N
= - 60 N

Means force is in opposite direction of direction of motion.

KE= 1/2 * m ( v^2 - u^2)
=1/2 * 20 kg ( 2^2 - 5^2)
=10 * ( 4 - 25) J
= 10 * - 21 J
= - 210 J.
