certain force acting on a 20 kg mass changes its velocity from 5m/s to 2m/s. calculate the work done by the force? please explain in detail.

Heya!!

Work done = change in kinetic energy

=) W = 1/2 * m( v^2 - u^2)

= 1/2 * 20 (2^2 - 5^2)

= 10 * - 21

= - 210 J

Negative sign indicates tht work is in opposite direction.

it can be found by the formula of kinetic energy 1/2 mv^2
