\Large{\textbf{\underline{\underline{Points\;are}}}}

1. Certain groups of weavers were in a better position to survive finishing with mill industries than others. Some produced course cloth among weavers while others woven finer varieties.

2. The demand the well had bought for the finest varieties to do was more stable. And when the poor were hungry, the wealthy might afford those.

3. The sale of banarasi or baluchari saris had no effect on the famines.

4. In fact, mills have been unable to mimic advanced Weavers.

5. Saris with woven borders or the popular madras lungis and handkerchief could not be easily displayed by mill manufacture.
