g = 10 \: ms {}^{ - 2}

u = 30 \: ms {}^{ - 1}

t = 3 \: sec

using formula,

h = ut +  \frac{1}{2}   gt {}^{2}

h = 30 \times 3 +  \frac{1}{2}  \times 10 \times 3 \times 3

h= 90 + 5 \times 9

h = 90 + 45

h = 135 \: m

Now,

v {}^{2}  = u {}^{2}  + 2gh

v {}^{2}  = (30) {}^{2}  + 2 \times 10 \times 135

v {}^{2}  = 900 + 2700

v {}^{2}  = 3600
