Certain quatity of a gas occupies a volume of 425 cm 3 at a pressure of 760mm if hg.if the pressure is to decrease to 700 mm of hg .what is volume?

P1 = 760mm
P2 = 700mm
V1 = 425
V2 = ?
Using Boyle's law
P1V1 = P2V2
Then, V2 = P1V1/P2
V1 = 760 x 425/700 = 461.43 cm^3.
