Answer:

The poor villager’s aim in life was to become rich and have a lot of money.  He decided to travel to Delhi as one day someone told him of a great Sufi saint, Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia who lived in Delhi.  The Sufi saint was a kind man.  He thought a saint would surely help him to be rich.

Explanation:

Sufi told him that he could stay in his house as long as he wants.  The villager was treated well and was given enough good food and clothes.  His life was very comfortable in Sufi’s house.  The villager decided to leave the Sufi’s house because he was impatient and he realized that his trip to Delhi was not going to bear the fruit.  Sufi gave his worn-out slippers to the villager as he was leaving.  While giving the slippers he said he will need those because there is a long way to go on the dusty roads.  The villager saw a great cloud coming towards him and a horse galloping towards him, with a rider, mounted on the horse.  The horseman treated the gift with respect to the villager because he was loyal and the most famous disciple of Hazrat Nizammudin Aulia.  So he considered the Sufi saint as his lord.  The horseman was willing to give a bag of gold, his horse, and his robes in exchange for the Sufi’s gift.
