Option (d)

Solution :-

From the given figure,

x and 50° are linear pair

=> x+50° = 180°

=> x = 180° -50°

=> x = 130°

y and 120° are linear pair

=> y+120° = 180°

=> y = 180° -120°

=> y = 60°

z and 110° are linear pair

=> z+110° = 180°

=> z = 180° -110°

=> z = 70°

Let the fourth angle be a°

We know that

The sum of all the four interior angles in a quadrilateral is 360°

50°+120°+110°+a° = 360°

=> 280°+a° = 360°

=> a° = 360°-280°

=> a° = 80°

The fourth angle = 80°

Now,

w and 80° are linear pair

=> w+80° = 180°

=> w = 180° -80°

=> w = 100°

The sum of x+y+z+w

= 130°+60°+70°+100°

= 360°

Answer :-

The value of x+y+z+w = 360°

Note :-

The sum of all exterior angles of a polygon is 360°

Used formulae:-

The sum of all the four interior angles in a quadrilateral is 360°

The sum of two adjacent angles is 180° then they are linear pair.
