Propene will readily react with HBr to give 2-bromopropane (major product) & 1-bromopropane (minor product).

Using Markovnikov's rule HBr molecule is added across the double bond of propene i.e H atom of HBr will bond to the carbon which contains most number of hydrogen atoms while Br prefer to bond to other carbon atom which have less number of hydrogen atoms.
