This happens because cold air cannot hold as much moisture as warm air. At night, the air cools down and some of the moisture in it condenses into little droplets that fall to the ground. This is called “dew”. It falls on all surfaces that are exposed to the sky, but on bare earth, pavement, etc.

when the temperature of air falls it can hold less water vapour and so liquid water condense out. When this happen at night it's called dew.That's what appears on the chair.
