$\frac{3 \times 1000}{100} = 30$

♠ Quantity of carbon is 30g in the chalk.

$quantity \: of \: oxygen = 12\% \: of \: 1000g$

$\frac{12 \times 1000}{100} = 120$

♠️ Quantity of oxygen is 120g in the chalk.

$quantity \: of \: calcium = 10\% \:of \: 1000$

$\frac{10 \times 1000}{100} = 100$

♠️ Quantity of calcium is 100g in the chalk
