Here is your answer:

Consider 2 kg of chalk as 100%

Now 2 kg is = 2000 g

So:

2000 g = 100 %

Now:

1 % = 2000 g / 100

==> 1 % = 20 g

Amount of calcium is 3%

Hence amount of calcium = 3*20 g

==> 60 g

Amount of carbon is 12 %

Amount = 12*20 g

==> 240 g

Amount of oxygen is 10%

==> Amount = 10*20

==> 200 g

Thus:

Amount of calcium is 60 g

Amount of carbon is 240 g

Amount of oxygen is 200 g

Hope it helps you
