Hey mate!!
________________★_★

→ Given ratio of CALCIUM : CARBON : OXYGEN =10:3:12

now,

percentage of Carbon in stick =( parts of carbon / total parts) × 100

here,

total parts = 10+3+12 =25

so,

percentage of C = (3/ 25) × 100 = 12%

2) given weight of C in stick = 3g

as C is 12% of weight of chalk

so,

3 = 12% weight of chalk

weight of chalk = 3 × 100/12

= 25g

hope it helps!!
