percentage of Carbon in stick =( parts of carbon / total parts) × 100
here,
total parts = 10+3+12 =25
so,
percentage of C = (3/ 25) × 100 = 12%
2) given weight of C in stick = 3g
as C is 12% of weight of chalk
so,
3 = 12% weight of chalk
weight of chalk = 3 × 100/12
= 25g
