Step-by-step explanation:

The lost of on other article = 25 %

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider the prices of both articles are same then

the price of one article = 2500 rupees

The price of  second article = 2500 rupees

Since man sell first one on the gain of profit 25 percent so

The selling price of first article = 2500 + 25 % of 2500 = 2500 + 625

                                                   = 3125 rupees

Since according to condition their was no totally gain and lost so

The selling price of second article = 5000 - 3125 =  1875 rupees

And

1875 = 75 % of 2500

So

The lost of on other article =  ( 100 - 75 ) % = 25 %

Thus

The lost of on other article = 25 %

Note:

Since you are not give the prices of articles so we consider the same as I think it is the best choice.
