NECAUS IT DOESN'T HAVE NUCLEUS THEREFORE NO NUCLEUS HENCE NO CHROMOSOME WHICH CONTAI N DNA AND RNA

Soumya5887: Virus have either dna or either rna
Soumya5887: I want to know why cant it have both of them ?
kaneshaurya: Your answer does not make sense
messiah2k16: thx
kaneshaurya: If you are a virus, you want to make your genome as small as possible. Bare minimum of genes, and those you have, keep short. For simplicity you want to be one piece of nucleic acid not 2. At least one of your genes, has to be an enzyme to replicate your genome.
Soumya5887: I cant understand
kaneshaurya: It is simple a virus try’s to maintain as small a genome as possible therefore it does not have both DNA and RNA
kaneshaurya: Did u understand now
