Food Processing Industry (FPI) is one of the fastest growing industries in the economy since last decade. It is having an exposure to achieve the local market and abroad also. Eco-products and organic-food has created good demand in this era, and India has sufficient balances of all the possible resources for this industry. Food Processing Industry can easily trap the external market and able to enjoy the fruit of global-business. The paper attempts the current situation of entrepreneurship development and effective supply chains management in the Food Processing Industry. Also, it evaluates the success of promotional policies for the Food Processing Industry. The paper will try to show a developmental rout path for the entrepreneurship development among rural/village areas through the food processing units.
