The profit on the rest of the fans is 70/3 %

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Let Chaman need A% profit to make it overall 20% profit.

Profit on 160 fans = Profit on 40 fans + profit on 120 fans

20% of (160 x 100) = 10% of (40 x 100) + A% of (120 x 100)

3200 = 400 + 120 A

A = 70 /3 %

Hence the profit on the rest of the fans is 70/3 %
