He left his house for freedom and begin as a full time activist and joined HRA. The death of Lala Lapat Rai despite Bhagat was opposed to Lalaji's Hindu Sabha support but he considered him as a respected freedom fighter. The plan to murder Scott was held. But eventually he with Rajguru murdered Saunders.
This event highlighted both Bhagat and HSRA in the eyes of British. British could not catch them. They then aligned with Jatin Das and started to make bombs. Bhagat was thinking to organise a coup or armed revolution against British but he knew that like british the common people too are skeptical of their ideas.
Bhagat threw bombs in Assembly in protest to Trade Disputes Bill and Public Safety Bill. He surrendered and then begin his master plan to showcase his brilliance and thoughts in court trials.
Fast unto death-Bhagat and his friends were not satisfied with jail facilities and revolted by hunger strike. This started the real hardship of Bhagat and his patience was tested at core.
After 80( some say Bhagat striker for 105 days) days British knelt down and accepted their demand. Bhagat was gaining popularity and INC was loosing grip on masses.

But some of party members betrayed Bhagat and he was trialed for Saunders murders and 3 of them were announced death punishment. Bhagat wanted to be killed by bullets and he eventually wrote a letter for that.

The man wanted people to come out and protest in full mode to caste out British. However he also said that violence is last resort for any protest and if any any revolution which lacks ideology then it's waste.
