Option 1, Sharvanbelagola, is the right answer.

Chandragupta Maurya, who ruled between 321- 298 BCE was the founder of the Mauryan empire in India. He was very much influenced to adopt Jainism by a sage named Bhadrabahu I, who prophesied the attack of a 12-year famine in his empire. When the famine began to spread, Chandragupta took various steps to counter it but he failed in doing so. Thereon, he became a follower of a faith known as Jainism. Therefore, he decided to spend the last days of his life at Shravanabelagola (a holy city in southwestern India), in the service of Bhadrabahu.
