Response is the change in organism which happens due to a disturbance called stimulus. This is what helps in reducing physical injuries as soon as possible.

Example : If we touch a hot object we immediately withdraw our hand. Here the withdrawing is the change or response to the stimulus heat. Hence response is the change happening due to stimulus.
