Hey there!

Ascending order is the order of observations arranged from smaller to bigger

Let x, y, z be three numbers. And x > y > z.
Ascending order : z, y, x.

Ascend generally mean to climb up or increase.

Now, Given decimals
= 0.7 , 0.77, 0.07 , 0.078 , 7

We observe that The maximum decimal digits are 3 .

So we covert all decimals to have 3 digits to compare .

0.7 = 0.700
0.77 = 0.770
0.07 = 0.070
0.078 = 0.078
7 = 7.000

By observations, We see that 7.000 or 7 is the largest number given.
Next , As the first digit is 0 , We compare decimals.

We know that,
070< 078 < 700 < 770

So, 0.07 < 0.078 < 0.7 < 0.77

Also 7 is the largest.

Finally, 0.07 < 0.078 < 0.7 < 0.77 < 7

Ascending order :0.07 , 0.078 , 0.7 , 0.77 , 7

Hope helped!

Hey!

_______________

Ascending order = Smallest to largest

0.7 , 0.77 , 0.07 , 0.078 , 7

Maximum decimal digit = 3

Converting each number till decimal digit 3.

0.7 =0.700
0.77 = 0.770
0.07 = 0.070
0.078 = 0.077
7 = 7.000

7 is a whole number, it's the largest then.
then, 0.78 < 0.7 < 0.77 < 7

Ascending order = 0.78 < 0.7 < 0.77 < 7

Hope it helps...!!!

Golda: You have missed 0.07.
Golda: There are five numbers to be written in ascending order but you have written only four.
