yes there is a vast change in cropping pattern in these states because of coming of new machinery , new styles of growing crops in new time but in olden time people grow crops with there hands , spread seeds by hands. , give water time to time

Surely, there is a change in cropping pattern in Maharashtra, Punjab, Tamil Nadu and UP. Following are some changes:

• Now these states are receiving hybrid seed which produces better crops with high yield.

• New machineries for the farming practices are introduced. It has reduced the labour work and reduced employment.

• Use of fertilizers, insecticides and pesticides to increase the yield of farm but these practices also results in decline of soil quality and crops.

• The crops which were planted by hands are now planted by machines with precise calculations.
