After the formation of zygote following changes
occur in a flower.
(a) Bright colour of flower is lost.
(b) Except ovary, all the parts of flower fall off.
(c) Ovule in the ovary supplies food to the zygote which becomes embryo.
(d) Meanwhile, the walls of ovule become hard.
(e) Thus, the ovule transforms itself into seed.
(f) As the seeds form, the ovary increases in size and becomes fruit.
(g) The ovary wall becomes the fruit wall.
