The change in pressure conditions over southern Indian ocean and south Eastern Pacific ocean affect the Indian monsoons.When the pressure difference is positive it means on time monsoon but if it is negative it means untimely monsoon(Difference here means Pressure over Pacific ocean - Pressure over Indian ocean)
