2 kinds of voice :-

• Active voice . ( When the subject of the sentence is the doer or actor , the verb is ACTIVE )
• Passive voice . ( When the subject of the sentence is acted upon, the verb is PASSIVE )

General rules of changing the Active voice into Passive voice :-

★ The 'object' in the Active voice becomes the 'subject' in the Passive voice.

★ The 'subject' in the Active voice, becomes the 'object' in the Passive voice. It's generally preceded by the preposition 'by'.

★ The main verb of the sentence is changed into past participle form and it's preceded by the correct form of 'Be' verb in Passive voice.

★ The Passive voice of the verb with two objects is formed by changing either of the two objects (preferably the Personal Object) into the subject and retaining the other as the ' retained object '.
