When we change a sentence from active voice (direct speech) into indirect speech or passive voice, the subject becomes the object . The object becomes the subject now. Also the tense of the verb remains the same.
Here the verb is in present continuous form.
Active voice: "Why are you playing Hockey ?"
Passive voice: "Why is hockey being played by you?"
"Why is hockey being played? "
Often we ignore "by you", as it is implied and implicit.
