the complex sentence mostly contains two verbs and single connectivity .But simple sentences have only one verb.
when changing the sentence into the simple form ,first remove the one verb and connectivity .
For the given sentence "the question was so easy so that everyone could answer it " , the simple sentence is
"everyone could answer the easy questions".
2)"he was confused and stopped working " , simple sentence is
"he was confused so he stopped working ".
