the release of heat means that the particles or the molecules becomes closely packed so the state changes from gas to liquid to solid.
the absorption of heat means the particles gain kinetic energy and became separating from each other this lead to melting so that's changed of state from solid to liquid to gas

Hey user, here is your answer...

▶️Yes, change of states can be brought by release absorption of heat as when the temperature is increased of solids( for example ice ) , the kinetic energy of the particles increases.

▶️Due to the increase in kinetic energy, the particles start vibrating with greater speed.

▶️The energy supplied by heat overcomes the force of attraction between the particles.

▶️The particles leave their fixed positions and start moving more freely.

▶️A stage is reached when the solid melts and is converted to a liquid. On the otherhand when we cool it in the freezer it is converted back into ice(solid).

▶️Thus, it is proved that changes of states can be brought by release or absorption of heat.
