Active Voice refers to a sentence in which the subject is performing the action.

Passive Voice refers to a sentence in which the subject undergoes the action. In other words, it is writing the sentence in reverse order.

Example: She is making paper boats. (Active)

Paper boats are being made by her. (Passive)

1 - He said to me,"Will you have a cup of tea?"

  • He asked me whether a cup of tea would be had by me.

2 - She said,"May you succeed my son!"

  • She said that her son may be succeeded by me.

3 - The notice said,"Do not feed the animals."

  • The notice said that the animals are not to be fed.

4 - "Always speak the truth", mother said to Alok.

  • Mother told Alok that the truth must always be spoken.

Hope it helps :)
