  • Some rules of possessive case are :
  • When there is a hissing sound in the last of the word so we add only apostrophe after the word to make it in possessive case.ex - ladies' parlour, strawberries' plant etc.
  • when there is no hissing sound in the last of the word so we add apostrophe plus 's' ( 's ) after the word to make it in possessive case. ex- Children's party , Man 's club etc.
